Lewis, one of our Fire Door Maintenance Engineers, has successfully completed his NVQ Level 2 Passive Fire Protection qualification through our Academy and working together with Now Get Qualified (NGQ). This NVQ is for those who are experienced at fire stopping and PFP works, with more detailed training relating to –

• Installing fire stopping and penetration seals
• Installing fire resisting timber door assemblies & doorsets
• Health, safety and welfare
• Access/working platform
• Moving, handling & storing resources

Lewis has demonstrated practical skills in the relevant areas listed above, shown understanding and awareness of a good level of work-related knowledge and competence, and proven the ability to carry out work safely and to an excellent standard.
