The Risk Assessment

Every building be it commercial, industrial, or multi-occupancy residential should by law have an up to date Fire Risk Assessment document.
A Fire Risk Assessment is a process involving the systematic evaluation of the factors that determine the hazard from fire, the likelihood that there will be a fire and the consequences if one were to occur. There are both qualitative and quantitative methods of risk assessment that can be used.
A Fire Risk Assessment involves a physical inspection of the building to determine the adequacy of the existing fire precautions and the need for any additional measures. However, of equal importance to the physical inspection is a review of fire safety management in the organisation and consideration of the human factors – how people will respond to an emergency and whether they will take appropriate action.

We can maintain all of the fire safety systems, be it Active or Passive, to ensure the safety of the landlord, visitors and tenants. We provide maintenance for all aspects of properties including rental HMO properties to include most elements that would be listed in a Fire Risk Assessment.

Legal Requirement

The most recent laws regarding Fire Safety came into force on 1st October 2006 with the introduction of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.

All workplaces and commercial premises
All premises the public have access to
Multi-occupied residential buildings
